Banking Leader In Regulatory Compliance, Risk Management, And Treasury Strengthens Marakon’s Offering In The Financial Services Sector

BOSTON--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Oct. 22, 2015-- Charles River Associates (NASDAQ: CRAI), a worldwide leader in providing management, economic, and financial consulting services, today announced that Anthony Rose has joined Marakon, a management consulting practice at CRA. Mr. Rose’s background includes more than 20 years of experience in the banking industry where he has led financial, operational, and compliance areas.

Within the banking industry, Mr. Rose’s areas of expertise include financial operations and reporting; audit, tax, and compliance; financial modeling and performance analytics; mergers and acquisitions; strategic alliances; regulation; and turnaround and crisis management. Most recently, he was a Senior Managing Director/Partner and Chief Financial Officer of the International Strategy & Investment Group (ISI Group). He managed and led the sale of ISI Group to Evercore Partners, including the transaction’s structure, financing, tax and legal concerns, and pre- and post-merger integration. Prior to the sale, he managed all financial, operational, and compliance activities for ISI Group.

Previously, he was a Director and Chief Financial Officer of the Equities Division at Credit Suisse where he managed all financial aspects of the business, with a particular focus on capital, funding, and liquidity management. Prior to Credit Suisse, Mr. Rose was head of Capital Management within Global Treasury at JPMorgan Chase & Co. and prior to that, he held positions of increasing responsibility in strategic planning and equity research, also at JPMorgan Chase & Co. Mr. Rose is a Chartered Financial Analyst and holds the Series 27 (Financial and Operations Principal) and Series 7 designations. In addition to speaking at risk management and investment banking forums, he is an adjunct professor at Columbia Business School. Mr. Rose holds an MBA in Finance and Accounting from Columbia Business School and a BS in Economics from the University of Wisconsin-Madison.
