BOSTON--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Feb. 25, 2016-- Charles River Associates (NASDAQ: CRAI), a worldwide leader in providing economic, financial, and management consulting services, today announced the deployment of an enhanced digital forensics laboratory, designed in accordance with ISO standards for quality, security and scientific laboratories, and consistent with the standards used by the Department of Defense’s Cyber Crime Computer Forensics Laboratory. Located in the firm’s Chicago office, the lab is a secure and technically advanced environment for analyzing complex forensic data and digital evidence.

The lab strengthens CRA’s capabilities assisting clients with the investigation of complex network data and cyber security issues. The lab includes secure areas to investigate malicious code and perform dark web reconnaissance and research assignments. “One area of the lab is a dedicated test environment for payment card and point-of-sale systems since many of our cyber investigations deal with compromised payment card data,” described CRA Vice President Bill Hardin.
